NZ could be embarrassed by Burma heading ASEAN

Green MP Keith Locke is worried New Zealand could be embarrassed if Burma takes over the chair of ASEAN next year.

Locke returns from West Papua with request that Papuan rights be put back on Pacific Islands Forum agenda

Green MP Keith Locke returned today from a three-day trip to West Papua conveying a request from Papuan leaders that New Zealand champion their cause at the Pacific Islands Forum.

Public Records Bill – Third Reading

The Green Party is supporting this bill as a step forward towards making the deposit of public records in the National Archives more systematic and comprehensive.

Locke defends Chief of Defence Force from Aussie attack

Green MP Keith Locke has defended the Anzac Day speech given by Chief of Defence Force against an attack by Greg Sheridan, a leading columnist for the Australian newspaper.
