I wish to endorse the comments made by previous speakers. The Green Party totally condemns the unspeakable atrocity that has taken place.

Green MP Keith Locke said today that the Government's decision to cancel automatic citizenship for babies born in New Zealand is a capitulation to Australian pressure.

The Green Party says the Government should take note of the public's overwhelming support for aid to struggling nations and it should raise New Zealand's miserly current contribution.
